It is suggested that you try to use many subheadings within your stack, each starting on a new page.  For example, this chapter contains the subheadings, "Add/Delete Card", "Add/Delete Field", and "Add/Delete Button".  In addition to helping the reader, this organization makes maintaining the stack easier, since inserting or deleting a few lines of text need not influence very many following pages.  For example, if I need to add a few lines to this subsection I won't have to worry about running into the next subsection.  If I had not started the next subsection on a new page, I might have to transfer a few lines from the next page to the page after next, etc.  Worse, I might have to manually change some of the index entries or footnotes because of this page change.
